Creating Passion-Driven Teams is “on track”
By Dan Bobinski
Director, The Center for Workplace Excellence
For those who’ve wondered “where the heck is Dan?” (or some other form of the same question), the answer has been: Nose to the grindstone, cranking out the manuscript for my next book, Creating Passion-Driven Teams.
Last week, the first phase of the project wrapped up.
I have to say “Thank You” to dozens of people for providing help and insights on what should go in the manuscript. I’ll wait to mention everyone in the Acknowledgments section of the book, but for right now, special thanks have to go to Elsieanne Cook, Jim Medina, and Greg Sigerson for their “over and above” contributions. MUCHO GRACIAS.
As I said, the first phase of the project is done. There’s still more to do. Career Press operates differently from publishers who work with authors as they go, editing chapter-by-chapter. With this project I wrote the entire piece of work up front and submitted it in total … about 45,000 words. From here, their editors and I start working to polish it up.
That’s work to be completed in cooperation with the publisher. The next project facing the Center for Workplace Excellence is designing and developing the passiondriventeams.com website, which should launch about the same time as the book (mid June).
I can’t tell you now excited I am about this project, as I’ve received very positive feedback on the draft. It will be great to extend the message for how to create passion-driven teams.
Thanks for hanging around – we’ll be back to blogging regularly now!
