Executive Assistants Rock
by Dan Bobinski
Perhaps you’ve seen an Executive Assistant making everything come together behind the scenes. If so, you know they are invaluable and worth their weight in gold to any executive.
With my next book coming out in June and a corresponding revamp of this website — plus the addition of an entirely new website that will support the material in the book — my schedule has become rather full.
Enter Elsieanne Cook.
Elsieanne gave tremendous input and suggestions for the content of the book, but since that time she also noticed how much was on my plate—and basically sold me on the idea that she could come alongside and serve in an Executive Assistant role.
I’ve had assistants before, but in the last few weeks I’ve decided Elsieanne was made for this role. She certainly has the expertise: When she was in the Air Force she worked as an E.A. for colonels and generals. And now that expertise is here at the Center for Workplace Excellence.
So — please join me in welcoming Elsieanne to the team. She’ll be an integral part of what’s going on here.
Oh, yes … one more thing. I’ve given her full access to my calendar and my contact list, as she’ll be doing a lot of things on my behalf — In other words, don’t be surprised if she returns a phone call or an e-mail for me. Also, as my E.A., she has full access to everything I’m doing, and understands fully the responsibility and discretion associated with that. No need to keep anything from her — she has my full confidence.
There are a lot more cool things I need to tell you about, too — so stay tuned!
