Got a great quote?
You know those sayings that just stick with you? The kind that’s short and sweet and helps you remember an important principle? Here’s one I love:
”When you chase two rabbits, both will escape.”
I’ve got to credit for this one to Ron Berning — He’s the director for META, which stands for MicroEnterprise Training & Assistance. (It’s part of a nonprofit here in Boise that offers assistance, microloans, and business plan training to eligible women, minorities, and immigrants.)
That quote is a great visual that helps me stay focused.
Got another great quote along these lines? I’m collecting them so please feel free to contribute. And, to make it fun, I’ll send a copy of my book Living Toad Free or my ebook on screening, training, and retaining good employees to whoever posts the best business quote (as determined by a vote of everyone here in the office) between now and March 15th.

I just read this
“Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else” & believe it adapts itself, very much, to the business world.
The quote is from Judy Garland!
